Filled with Vampires the Naruto world has gained a whole new light, most of it turning red. With Vampires free to roam even Ninjas are at risk to become a bloody treat for a hungry Vampire.

Silence.

All the girl heard was silence.

It was nighttime, the streets abandoned. It should be quiet, but this absolute silence scared her.

She turned her head, blue eyes looking around worrily, looking for anyone watching her, the feel of eyes watching her taking her over.

The girl saw only a piercing red pair of eyes before she felt a sharp pain in her neck.

Moments later, the girl lay on he ground, drained of blood, the one responsible already having left.

Itachi Uchiha.

He hadn't been like this before. Merely months ago he had been changed into this bloodsucking, undead creature. Now he preyed upon people at night, and was a seemingly normal Akatsuki member during the day.

He had had his meal for tonight, and now back to the Akatsuki before he was missed by anyone.

[Wrath]

What time was it? It was to hard to tell here, time had no meaning in this place of death were the Akatsuki lay. Actually, it wasn't really scary just..boring as Hell. Even with the Vampires attacking them every now and again it usual remained dull and tonight was no exception.

Stepping down the hall, listening to the sounds of footsteps echoing he assumed it had to be close to dawn or at least night. Would anyone be up for a spare this late at night? Most of them here didn't sleep much and if you did manage to wake them up you could unleash Hell on yourself. It was a fun game to play with Itachi.

With a sharp smile, literaly, Kisame headed down to Itachi's room. Hell sounded like fun, though picking on the talented Sharingun wielder wasn't a very smart idea...Who cared, he was bored out of his mind.

Itachi reached the hideout quickly enough, hopping in through his window which he had left open specifically for this purpose.

The Uchiha removed his cloak, followed by his shoes and socks, then his fishnet shirt, left in only his pants.

Now to atleast pretend to sleep, until he heard enough people up.

He hadn't been able to sleep since he had been turned, now awake all day and night, pretending to sleep after hunting, just incase anyone came into his room, namely his partner.

So many times Itachi had held back the urge to kill and/or bite his shark-esque partner. He was annoying, he invaded the Uchiha's space, and it was like he went out of his way to annoy the weasel.

Itachi crawled under his blankets, curling up under the warmth.

It took longer than expected to reach Itachi's room, he must have accidentally taken a wrong turn or whatever.

Reaching the closed door Kisame simply pushed it open stepping into the gloom.

"Itachi." he called, seeing his partner wrapped under the blankets apparently sleeping away.

He loved to annoy him, get some kind of reaction to come out though it wasn't always one he wanted.

Hovering over the bed he smiled down smugly, sharp teeth emphasizing his sharky nature.

The Uchiha opened onyx eyes as he heard his name, looking up to the older male, glaring slightly.

"Kisame, what do you want?" he asked in an annoyed monotone.

He sat up, blanket falling onto his lap, revealing the weasel's bare chest to the shark.

Itachi's eyes swirled red as he continued to glare at his partner. He had come into his room, therefore invading his privacy, and 'woken' him. Did he have a death wish?

Kisame had to work hard not to just burst out luaghing at the annoyed tone. Itachi was quicker to anger than most people. Then again he was a lot deadlier as well.

Smilg Kisame didn't answer, he just coninued to stare down at him. Doing his best to not let his eyes roam over the exposed fleshed revealed by the sudden action.

"I'm bored." He finalyy said, looking into those swirling eyes. If he wanted to he could easily make him suffer for his horrible interuption.

He was walking a fine line here now. Itachi was clearly annoyed and as much as he wanted to touch the alienated boy, such a move would mean certain death.

"Bored? So found it to be a good idea to come annoy me in the middle of the night?" he asked, frowning slightly at the other male.

Itachi sighed, eyes returning to their previous coal black color.

"What exactly are you planning to do, then? I'm not going out of my way to entertain you, Kisame," the weasel stated, crossing his arms over his chest.

Depending on his answer, the Uchiha may or may not let him live. Fuck Pein, he'd had enough with the shark.

Itachi had given him some breathing room thankfully, coal eyes boring into his own the red tint receading back into nothing. It was unvering to look into those cold eyes when he was enraged, Hell it was down right dangerouse to do so.

Right then, there were several answers he wanted to give but he didn't think Itachi to be one to be interested in what he was thinking.

Arms crossed Itachi sat, waiting for an answer that would probably end or save his life. Damn it was hard to concentrate though, Itachi was right therearms folded against his toned waist showing off everything that Kisame wanted.

"Training." he finally decided on.

Itachi shook his head, sighing.

"You want to train in the dark in the middle of the night?" the weasel asked. "Can't you think of something else?"

He hoped that was all he wanted to do, and would leave. It was obviously not going to happen that way, but he could wish.

swing and a miss but at least he wasn't dead yet. Though, thinking back on it, it had been a stupid answer sense he wasn't one to train in the dark himself. Preferring to keep an eye on his own movements and those around him. Well, it Itachi was so insistent on staying here then maybe...

Without waiting for an invitation he set down next to the black haired man, letting his eyes scan the bare chest fully, admiring.

Reaching behind him, he withdrew his companion, a blade that never left his side and one of the seven swords of legend. Carefully he set it in front of him running his hand up the blade.

"Isn't that when it is usual done." he said softly, keeping his eyes on Itachi's the whole time. Double meaning there, if he couldn't bring him outside then maybe he could get what he wanted....If he whent about it carefully.

He'd always admired Itachi like this. Ever sense they had become partners in crime.

Itachi didn't understand why he had suggested such a rediculous thing in the first place. For one, Itachi could see fairly well in the dark. Kisame, on the other hand, he was sure could not. Or atleast not enough to really see him.

The weasel glared slightly when Kisame sat on his bed, even more when he looked over his chest. If the Uchiha was capable of blushing, he would probably be a deep pink by now, how Kisame looked at him. Or rather, just being shirtless infront of him.

"...Hn," the Uchiha muttered, shifting over slightly, away from Kisame, dark gaze moving down to his lap.

What was Kisame doing, and why exactly had he chosen Itachi?

Multiple questions of the sort ran through Itachi's head. But what was odder, is he felt something for Kisame, all though he didn't yet understand what it was, or why. He was drawn to his partner. And no matter how annoying he was, Kisame made Itachi feel safe when he was around. He had never felt like that about someone other than Kisame, or atleast this strongly.

The weasel let out a sigh, still concentrating on his hands, folded in his lap.

Kisame let the smile fade, though in truth he wasn't exactly upset in any way. He could reach the Uchiha well and he had noticed the eyes wondering over him.

Leaning over Kisame set the blade down on the floor, removing his hand from the hilt before moving back up. That simply action demestrated the trust he held for Itachi. Never wold he loose grip on his blade in anyone elses prescense, not if he wanted to live.

Itachi was dangerous though, but it didn't stop him from leaving an opening.

He had always admired Itachi in the respect that he had multiply oppurtunities to kill him, expecialy when they met, but had taken none of them to heart. Itachi deserved his respect and admiration and even though he seemed relaxed at meeting..He was never truly free, except when he was near Itachi.

Maybe that was why he couldn't stay away? Itachi made him relax, which was pretty wierd. "Is that all you do is grunt and say threatining words?" he said, turning to look at him again.

Itachi looked up to watch the other male set down his sword, blinking and sighing before he layed back, staring up at the ceiling.

Kisame trusted him, enough to put his sword down around him, and in return, Itachi usually would deactivate his sharingan when he was with Kisame, unless the shark irritated him.

Itachi was always less careful around Kisame, he left his guard down slighty, allowing the safe feeling he had around Kisame to grow over time of giving the older male his trust.

The weasel knew that letting his guard down and trusting Kisame gave him opportunities that he could kill Itachi, but that's what trust is about.

The Uchiha shifted his gaze to meet his partners golden eyes.

"...If you were more intelligible, maybe I could have a real conversation with you," Itachi retorted.

[Wrath]

Kisame huffed, glaring down at Itachi with a smirk. "Are you calling me stupid Uchiha?"

Reaching over he pointed an accusing finger at his friend. "You're the one who never talks. How am I supsoed to have a descent conversation with you when you just reply with 'hmn', and 'uh' huh? I think you're too stupid to come up with anything to stay."

Good times, picking a fight with the red eyed man was fun, and showed just how much he liked him.

Moving fast he moved his hand closer, pressing a finger inot the middle of his head so that an imprint would be left.

Ok, taunting was fine but he didn't know exactly how he was goign to react to physical contact.
