Skulls watched the neko noticing the determination that appeared in the iris' of his eyes. They were firey and passionate about his feelings. This only made Skull blink when Whiskey's head hit the table. He was right though trusting one too much would be a great down fall. Skulls had the feeling though that he himself would fall under that category. they had only met yesterday though at least they weren't in bed together because than he would need to have a long discussion with his own morals. though in reality he didn't have a lot of them.
Skulls leaned closer and stated "Your right we'll have to break you of that..."

Jack rolled his head to look at the other, but left his head on the table. He smiled a little at the gorgeous man in front of him. He knew he trusted too easily, and this man was no different. "yeah. I know. I'm sorry."
(doin this from a thing for my dad. If u need more in order to reply, just reply and say so. If not, I'll kno. I just can't do it now cuz I'm not even sposed to be on)

Skulls sighed and asked "what's your opinion on the uprising happening?" Normally he wouldn't have asked though their were a lot of rebel gangs rising and it made him curious though his parents had a choke hold on him. Personally him and a lot of his friends didn't care for their form of government. thus the rebel. The rebel was stop what the government was doing, lots of neko's were falling into poverty and the system wasn't doing anything about it. It slightly angered the orange haired neko.
He leaned back in his chair as Skulls proceed back to their original conversation, "stop saying sorry than and stand tall..." He sent a smile over to Whiskey knowing if he did that he would become a lot.

Jack's eyes sparked with anger and his ears went back. "Our government is bull." He then quickly looked around to make sure his sister was nowhere near. "It is supposed to help us, but obviously, it hasn't. I can't stand it!" his ears relaxed, drooping down low. "It should be helping the unfortunates. Instead it's robbing them blind." He hoped that he wasn't currently speaking with a government supporter, because then he'd be in more trouble than he had been before.

Skulls smiled happy to see the out burst. The orange haired neko stated "here here," before raising his glass of water and taking a sip from it. Placing it back down upon the table top, he stated "they haven't had a good government for a long while...It more than obvious that it won't get any better... I've heard a few rumors that it was going to get worse..." Skulls blinked thinking about the rumors of the governments plan to might cause genocide though the people that he heard from where whores... It was their way of making a living, and his friends nothing more than that.
She heard from a government official, so he more than obviously trusted her. Skulls glanced at the black haired neko... He couldn't have that happen to such a kind neko like Whiskey and Apples. Shaking his head he stated softly "I suggest you and your sister stay here for as long as you please..." It wasn't like he was going to force them to stay it was more because he didn't want them to leave... he didn't understand why though.

Jack looked up at him. He had a small, disbelieving smile on his face and there was a gleam of hope in his eyes. He searched the face of the orange haired neko for betrayal, the obsidian eyes for lies. He found none. "Really?" He might trust too easily, but this was one of the one things he knew not to trust- offers of help when the government was involved. His ears perked a little at the lack of signs of betrayal.

Skulls looked back at the black haired neko. He had meant it but better explain in case whiskey didn't want to stick around. Skulls didn't want the two of them getting caught. "There's a rumor going around about taking everyone off of the street and taking them out of the picture... I know it now sound like I'm trying to blackmail you into having you and Apples stay here but I'm not... I'm only warning you about the dangers that could eventually happen.
Skulls sighed and stated "in other words it would be a honor to have you and your sister stay here," He blushed slightly before tearing his obsidain eyes away from Whiskey.

Jack flushed. His smile grew wider and his ears perked farther. He swished his tail behind him and took a bite of pancakes, unsure of what to do with his hands. He reveled in the happy feeling of being wanted. (Of course, the pancakes were pretty delish, too) "Thank you. So, so much." His smile did not leave his face. This amazing man was super kind.

Skulls listened having one ear politely or impolitely turned towards Whiskey, it just mattered on the people who you were around to say what or what isn't polite. He seemed to fidget a little more though he happily accepted the offer to stay with the odd orange haired Neko, making him smile. Though his mood ended soon already thinking about tomorrow. His arms where still sore from his bratty brother who spilled boiling water on him though he ignored the pain.
"I'll have to go to work tomorrow, I'm sorry about that..." he stated fairly annoyed since he liked the time he had off. "While I'm gone feel free to help yourself to anything..." he added.

Jack smiled at him. "Thank you so much!" exclaimed the black haired Neko. He hugged Skulls gratefully as he quickly slipped back into the polished wooden seat. A light blush dusted over his cheeks as he fiddled pushing up his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "U-uh, am I keeping you from work?" stuttered out Jack finding a little bit guilty if he was or if Skulls had a different shift or what not. Jack knew what it was like to work all the horribly late shifts, he hoped he wasn't keeping the orange haired neko form the day shifts at his job, other wise that feeling of guilt would turn into an embarrassment.

At the sudden movement Skulls was just about to wrap his arms around as an instinct Though Whiskey had pulled away quickly it shocked the black haired neko on how fast he could move though he shouldn't have been. Blinking the sparkling obsidian eyes as the light had just hit them just right damn sun... Shaking his head a little he turned his head away orange hair swaying while doing so. He had noticed the adorable blush that had seemed to have found the pale neko's flesh.
"No I took the day off, you don't need to feel guilty I should have workman's comp though I doubt my old man would give me that," commented Skulls as he blocked the sun from his eyes slightly.

Jack looked at the kitchen window and noted the lack of curtains. He decided to check all of the other windows in this apartment for curtains. The other neko obviously did not like the sun. He looked back at the older man and tilted his head to the side. "Your father is your boss?" He didn't know anything about fathers, but he had a deep respect for the ones who stayed with their families. Raising his sister let him see almost what they had to go through. He could have left her with any of the people they stayed with, the ones that liked her, but he didn't. "What's that like?"

Skulls thought briefly on how to answer the oddly popped up question... Where he worked was highly complicated. "Well sure my dad is my boss though in reality Mom runs the restaurant bringing more customers and managing the bills... It's a little complicated though it more like a family business," stated Skulls. Though he was unsure of the next question. It could have meant quite a few things and sadly none of them stood out. Should he just give his answer for all of them?
"Well since I'm unsure of what you mean by the question I'll give you a few answers. Working at the restaurant sucks like hell. Probably because my siblings work there as well but otherwise it's an okay job though it would probably be better if I forgot they were my family. As parents as a boss they tend to expect more of you." honestly answered Skulls.

"Huh." Jack thought about his answer and finished his deliciously golden brown pancakes. "That was good. What do you mean, they expect more of you?" He was very confused. he did not understand the concept of 'expect of you.' His mom never expected anything of him, she couldn't do anything. He wasn't with any other adults long enough to have anything expected of him. He took care of his sister, then himself, then he got them from place to place, in that order. He just did what was needed.

"They want me to become more than what I am," replied Skulls as he stretched out within his seat as his muscles had gotten to tense from seating their for such a period of time. Than he let all his muscles that he knew how to relax, relax. arms drooped over the chair and legs had gone limp. Skulls bite his lips as he thought about what else they could get done today. "Would you like to get Apples enrolled within school?" asked Skulls on the speaking of expectations. She needed an education as well. Hopefully as well they could land Whiskey a job... at the restaurant with him? He was unsure.
Biting his lips he continued on with asking "Do you have any plans for the future and I'm sorry if it seems if I'm digging to deep within your life," solemnly spoke the orange haired neko. He felt bad for doing this much digging.
