Roland nodded slightly, still smiling. He could tell that something was going on in Aruk's mind about ignoring the rules, but he didn't want to bother him by asking about it. He looked around at the people, getting a little nervous. "Alright.." He mumbled. "If you can help us get away from the crowd, that'd be great.... After that, I'll take us to Killian's place." He was curious about how Killian would react to seeing him with another vampire, especially since there were so few around here. And what would Aruk think about Killian? Would he think he's weird? Maybe TOO weird? Then again, Roland thought he was weird, but some people can't stand people as weird as him. 'Well,' he thought. 'The only thing I can do now is wait and see...'

Aruk had to supress a laugha t that one. "Getting away from a crowd is what I do best." Shoving your way through a crowd came with his job description and even though he couldn't simply vault over the masses like he;d become accostomed too, the task was still relatively simply to accomplish. After all, people had their own busines to attedn too and they weren't exactly interested in chasing the two of them down demanding an explination. No, that little confrentation in the street had been nothing more to them than a little side show. distracting but not follow worthy. Should they be insulted..?
Well, that was a stupid question! "Allright, crowd averted now if you'd please..? I still have a load of thigns to do and I'm afraid i'me rather interested in this other fugitive. Krillian must be something special to hoard a Vampire." Desperatly he wanted that to be the case. how many times had he come across a company of a Vampire/Human relationship only to discover the Human was in it for immortality and looks? too often. This Krillian had better not be after the same thing, not after what happened today. Not after learning that roland was willing to endure possible slavery to be out in the sun with him but then again, he may have been misreading that one. It was hard to tell this early int he game considering, for the most part, he'd been tuned on getting roland imprisoned.

Roland smiled slightly, then began to turn circles looking for the fastest route to take to Killian's shop. "Alright, umm..... This way!" He began to run down the street, the only two things on his mind were getting to Killian's with Aruk, and staying safe.
Killian's shop was small, it's facade blank. There was only a large, colored glass window beside the door, barely allowing one to look inside. "Here it is..." Roland stopped in front of the door. "It's boring, I know..."

Alright, he hated to judge but Roland had to be bipolar! The man had been close to wailing his eyes out not ten minutes ago and now..? Now, he was skipping along happily in what appeared to be a random direction.... Well, it looked that way! For the past minute he'd been turning in circles peering down every road that was in view so what else could he expect!? Wow, today was seriously going in the wrong direction... Stupid Albino vampire... No that was cruel, best to keep those thought out for the time being. After all he probably just wanted to get his bearing after being dragged out of a hoard of humans. Or so he hoped. "Alright, if you think that's the way then I'll follow." he said belatedly, walking after the other male until they reached what appeared to be a very plain, if not creepy, shop.
Hopefully, there wasn;t a goth waiting in there. No offense to Goths in general but from what he'd seen over the years.. Those who tended to lean more twords Gothic nature tended to seek out Vampires and their immortality. but maybe he was over thinking it? Just because he ran a plain shot didn't necessarily mean this Krillian was a bad person or even a goth! He should just keep his head down for now and observe. "Well, I hope your Friend doesn't mind guests because I'm going in." Taking the lead Ark gently pushed open he door, raising a brow at the colored window but otherwise ignoring it as he walked inside looking around.. He didn't see anyone else but the store was obviously open so his friend had to be around here somewhere right?

Sitting in a chair in the far corner of the shop was a man dressed in a grass-green suit, with a similarly colored top hat tipped over his eyes. His red hair hung down over his shoulders, complimenting the green in his clothes. The shop was seemingly empty, with boring, off-white walls and a simple counter on the far side of the room from the door. There was another door aside from the one leading outside, but it seemed to be locked.
The man slightly looked up, opening his eyes and revealing the bright green behind his eyelids. "Oi..." He mumbled. "Ya gonna buy somethin'?" His voice was strange. It was clearly European, but it wasn't clear exactly what it was, though it seemed dominantly Irish. His bright eyes widened somewhat as he saw Roland. He leaned forward and nearly fell out of his chair. "Roland?!" he jumped up, ran over and threw his arms around him. "You sonnuva bitch! Where've you been?!"
Roland smiled and hugged him back. "Has it really been that long, Killian? i thought I was only gone a couple of days..."
"You were, stupid, but that's more than long enough to get yourself caught n' killed!" He glanced at Aruk. "Oi... Who's your friend...?"

For a Vampire, he really didn;t have good senses. Or maybe he just didn't feel like paying attention? Either way, it came as a surprise when the green oriented man called out to him and then to Roland in a nearly overjoyed tone. Well, he wasn't a goth by any standard if his attire was anything to go by and the warm, carefree, way he confronted Roland suggested he was just what he seemed. A friend. With a sigh of relief, Aruk let a hand travel through his dark blue hair, straightening a few strands as he listened offhandedly to the way the man spoke. Where was he from? Obviously, that wasn't an American slur and he'd been around long enough to know the difference. But right now they didn't have much time for pleasantries. Some serious topics needed to be breached today, preferably now, while they were all gathered in the secluded store. And second only, he really did need that food or whatever.
"I'm Aruk, it's a pleasure to meat you but I must say I wish the circumstances were a little different for both of us. I'm kind of in a hurry and Roland has gotten into some serious trouble here and seeing as how you obviously understand the consequences of another vampire catching him... You're to be included into the subject." Alright, that was a little blunt but really..! He was running out of time and someone had to keep Roland in line! Walking over to the duo Aruk fiddled nervously with his chocker when a thought accrued to him. Dammit! I should have just waited to do this! right now what I need is human expertise on food, the lecture could have waited until nightfall where a meeting could have been scheduled for his house but it was a little late now. Some foresight he had there. "Sorry to be so rude, especially after Roland's help but.." Grimacing he shrugged , showing off his own fangs

Killian smiled warmly. "'S no problem at all." His smile faded slightly. "I knew Rolan'd get into some trouble sooner or later, but I didn't think i'td be THIS soon....." He thought about it for a moment. "Hmm... Roland? Could you come with me for a moment?" He rested a hand on Roland's shoulder and led him through the door on the other side of the shop.
It was ten minutes or so before they came out, Roland looking defeated. "Umm..." He mumbled. "K-Killian thinks it'd be better if I... Learned to be more like a vampire...." He glanced up at Aruk, blushing slightly. "He thinks I should go with you....."
"No, was that so hard, lad?" Killian patted Roland on the back and then turned his attention to Aruk. "So," He started, not even waiting for a response. "'S all too obvious that you ain't from around here. Whaddya need?"

Put out and a little pissed Aruk watched in irratation as Roland and Krillian dissapeared behind the door. When he'd suggested a series talk, he'd counted on himself being a part of that specific talk. not to be left out here standing alone in an empty shop! Rubbing at the brigdge of his nose Aruk moved to lean lazily up against the counter, ears pricked to try and catch what they were talking about but the wall seemed to think.. Maybe Krillian just knew how to get around Vampire hearing? After all living with roland had to have tought him soemthing about their capabilities right? If he had any dreams of privacy he must have.
Sighing in exasperation Aruk waited a good ten minutes before the door finaly came open. Wow, Roland looked like Hell from it too. L8ke a child scolded for a misdeed or something along those lines. Sadly, the situation fit quite nicely. "Wait a second...You want me to teach him how to be a Vampire..?! THat's absurd he should already know! He drinks blood doesn;t he?" Drinking blood din't make you a Vampire. It was the skills that came along with the transformation that did which brought up a good question.. Why hadn't roland sped out of there when he had the chance..? 'Teleportation' or fast movement was commen enough and even a new fledgling could edo it to some extent but from what he'd seen... With humans around the move was risky but he could have pulled it off back there..."Alright, fine whatever i'm loosing time here. Roland, come stay with me and Krillian..? I need help picking out human fruits. Ones that could be made into alchoholic beverages actually. Sadly, I'm not too familiar with todays human diet so I'm at a loss."

Killian thought about it for a moment. "Fruit, huh? Hmm... Honestly, it depends on what kind of drink you wanna make, but pretty much any fruit can be made into one." He motioned towards the door he had just come out. "C'mon. I make my own alcohol, so my cellar's full of only the best ingredients." he walked through the door, hodling it open for Aruk.
Meanwhile, Roland stood there, head hung low, ashamed of how pathetic he knew he was. He barely knew how to be a vampire, though he'd been one for nearly 400 years. Not only that, but he could hear a tension in Aruk's voice that... SCARED him.

Chuckling at the cocky tone Aruk moved to swiftly follow Krillian down into the basement but before he made it past the counter he passed, looking back in time to watch Roland's head drop. 400 years he'd been alive and yet he was still a fledgling. How long had he been hiding out in the sun? Mentally shaking himself Aruk descended, nodding to Krillian in thanks as they headed down the stairs ignoring the questions that popped up continuously as Krillian and himself went through their paces discussing fruit. Luckily, it didn't take too long before they had everything in order and with a satisfied smile Aruk climbed back up the steps.
"Someone will be by here around 9;30 pm to pick everything up before my shift." Everything had been pad for now all he needed to do was return home and get everything set up for his night shift.... As for Roland...? Looking up, he sent an awkward smile across to the other male waving him closer. His earlier surprise had come off a little rude and while he did view the whole thing as a kind of inconvenience really should have been more polite. Roland looked about as lost as he felt at the moment. "Well, I guess Roland and I had better get going before my contract terminates. Besides, I need to get you settled in before I have to go to work."

Roland nervously moved over to him, sensing the strange change in emotion of the other vampire.
Killian tapped Aruk on the shoulder, clearing his throat slightly. "Uhhh, sorry 'bout this.. Y'know, having you take care of Roland.... It's just, he needs to learn how to be more... VAMPIRE. Sure, he drinks blood, but he's not used to living like a vamp other than that. And, since he's never actually MET another vamp besides you, I figured you could help..." He smiled slightly. "He's a bit bi-polar, I know, but... He's really a good kid." He patted him on the back, his smile widening. "Take good care of 'im!"

Astonished, Aruk nodded meekly while he turned an eye once more on Roland. Never met a Vampire? It seemed almost impossible considering Roland’s 400 years but....? Did he really have proof otherwise? It was both sad and shocking all in one. To have never met...! The daylight hours rule hadn't been in effect more than 100 years. Where had Roland been the rest of the time? Surely he must have met at least one or two along the way? It just didn't seem...Right or even possible to have never crossed path with one of the same breed. Roland was definatly a strange one.
Roughly, Aruk tugged a hand through his hair once more, taking a few strand with him when he finally straightened. "I will. I'm not sure if I truly believe you about him not having met another but I'll take your word on it for now. Roland..? Let's get moving." With that simple command he turned on his heel and headed out the door, thoughts alive with the sudden change of events. Not only had he betrayed the very rules he held dear and released a vampire clearly breaking the law, he had managed to find that same vampire tucked under his jacket! And if taking on a bipolar vampire wasn't enough it turned out that the only other Vampire interaction he had was with him..! Today had really taken an unexpected turn and even if teaching him how to 'act' like a vampire wasn't too difficult... It would take time and attention. Well, considering he probably hadn't had any previous ability training that is. Heavily, Aruk sighed as he clutched almost bruising at the cross around his neck.
How he really felt about the whole was lost on him but.... This was definatly going to take some time getting used to.

Roland huged Killian one last time, then nervously followed Aruk out the door. Again, he could feel a strange tension coming from the other vampire. "H-he's right, you know...." He glanced up at Aruk. "I... I've never actually MET another vampire besides you... I'm sure I've seen them, but... I've never talked to one.." He felt strange admitting it. He was even more nervous now. 'What exactly does he think of me?' He wondered. 'Does he think I'm weird..?' Well, that one was obvious, but just how weird did he think he was?

ooc; Sorry I havent replied in forever. ><
Looking down on Roland Aruk had to stiffle another sigh. Well, his friend had been telling the truth huh? That complicated things a bit. Even new vampires at least had one or two family memebers to guide them. If Roland had just been turned and then left to figure it out on his own then that would explain why he was so adverse to the rules. At least a little. Without proper understand of one's one culture the rules ccould seem rather pointless. Rubbing furiously at the back of his head gold eyes casted forward as he thought.
"I see, so he was tellign the truth than? Well, I guess it's better that way. At least you can be tuaght right now. If some asshole had come along and took you in thend umped you here then I'd have a great deal of trouble unteaching you." That was supposed to be a joke but now that it was out there it sounded kinda harsh. Crap. "Hey, don't worry about not havent met another vampire. You're mostly staying in the sun right? It's only natural that you'd miss us. Don't worry though, being a vampire isn't too hard. All you have to do is.. Well...Be you basicvly but faster." That, was the lamest way to put it but it was true. Being a vampire didn't change who you were.. Maybe luifestyles but that was it basicly. and as much as he hated Roland's lack of interest towards rules he was a pretty good guy. Shouldn't be too hard to get along with him.. It just might be a little awkward for the enxt few days.

Roland whimpered slightly. A simple as Aruk made all of it sound, he knew it wouldn't be easy for him. He had lived among humans for 400 years. He had been put down for being a vampire, so he simply pushed it out of his mind that he was. As far as he was concerned, he was still a human and he wondered if that would ever change. He stared down at the ground as he walked, pondering over how he was going to get through all this "learning", as Aruk put it.
